VIDEO: The Importance of Content Around Intent [#CZLBKK]

In this video interview, Acronym's Mike Grehan talks about the evolution of search and why quality over quantity is as important as ever when it comes to content.

In today’s world, with “likes” and “follows” and Internet users constantly connected to digital devices, brands need to be thinking about the intent behind their content in their search optimization strategies, said Mike Grehan, managing director and chief marketing officer at Acronym at his opening keynote at this month’s ClickZ Live Bangkok.

“Think about the intent behind the query to find the right content – it means you’ll think a lot more seriously about the type of content you’ve created and why you created it,” he said.

In his address, Grehan talked about the major change for brands as the world moves from an “attention economy where everything is on the side of the vendor, to an intention economy where the customer will have more control.”

In this video interview, Grehan discusses the evolution of search, the importance of intent, and gives some predictions for digital marketing trends going into 2015.
